Effortless Starting: STIHL ErgoStart reduces the effort required to start your power tool. A smooth, even pull on the starter cord is all that’s needed. The starter cord speed is significantly reduced, enabling quick and reliable engine starts even with a slow pull. This system includes an additional spring between the crankshaft and the starter cord roll for easier operation.
STIHL 2 MIX Engine
Reduced Starting Strokes: The manual fuel pump minimizes the number of pulls needed to start the power tool, making the startup process quicker and easier, especially after longer periods of inactivity. Before starting, actuate the pump several times to ensure there is adequate fuel in the carburettor.
